Posted by The Giddy Tiger in : Thoughts & Scribblings , trackbackA few days ago, the air-conditioner in our room suddenly went bonkers, and started dripping water. We’re not sure if it’s because of the position of the pipe carrying the water that has gone haywire or what, but about 20-30 minutes after we switch it on, water will start dripping. Hubbs has promised that he will try to rectify the problem himself, before calling the air-conditioner guy to have it serviced. So while waiting for him to do that, we just switch on the air-cond for a short while every night, enough to make the room cool, then when we hear the dripdripdrip of the water, we turn the air-cond off. Of course, we leave the fan on la. That’s the advantage of having both a fan and an air-cond in the room. Thank goodness it has been rather cool these past few nights

Oh what a pain. Hopefully all you need is some kind of gasket to tighten up the pipe so it won’t leak.

You need to service your air-cond. I had this prob before, after servicing and cleaning. It works fine.
