…I hope not. š
It all started with a scorching hot evening last Friday. We attended a barbeque by the sea, and what would normally have been a windy, sea-breezy affair turned out to be a hot and sweaty experience. There was no indication of any wind at all. While savoring the deliciously marinated ribs and grilled succulent shrimps, the night air was incredibly smoky and stagnant. I had a lot of difficulty breathing properly. Well, I was soon to find out the haze was back to rear its ugly head in Penang.
This morning, I woke up with a heavy head. All I wanted to do was hide myself between my sheets and sleep through the entire morning. Maybe it’s because it’s a dreary Monday. And maybe it’s because the haze is back.Ā I could not even see the Penang Bridge or Komtar from my balcony this morning.
Haze, haze go away… never come back, come what may…..
