Giving from the Heart September 19, 2007

I constantly find myself at wits’ end trying to thinking of a perfect gift for someone. Whether it is a gift for a birthday or a “Get Well Soon” gift or even a gift that says “Congratulations!”, it is always very difficult for me to zero in on one item that I think that person would like. Maybe it is because I am a perfectionist at heart. Most of the time though, I like to put myself in the shoes of the recipient, because then I would get a good gauge of what the person wants and needs, and hopefully end up with a fantastic gift, a gift that is heartfelt and a gift that will leave a warm feeling in the heart of that someone. However, this method will only work if I know the person very well. And when I am caught with my back against the wall as I sometimes am, I know I could never ever go wrong with FOOD! Everyone loves food, right? So giving someone one of these gorgeous gourmet gift baskets is guaranteed to make their day! Gift baskets are the modern day hampers, and trust me, there’s something for everyone. From coffee lovers to wine connoisseurs, or even someone who adores just a bouquet of flowers, you’re bound to find something you like :)
