Agree with you! But i didn’t know they have enforced the law now…I’m outdated…haha

Luckily I bought a Britax car seat when I was back in Penang. So, should still be able to use it again next time.

To be honest, not the most expensive models are the best. Over here, the Consumers Advocates (Choice) test each and every branded car seat in the market…quite cool.

Malaysia should have this kinda organisation, then at least parents will have an idea of what to buy.

Personally, I strap my kids..coz I don’t want them to fistfight in the car. WAKAKAAKAKAKAKAKAAKAKAKAKAAKAK!!!

I couldn’t agree more. I got into a HUGE fight with my PILs about buckling Bryan up in the car seat from infancy. We had our shares of cries but now, it’s easy peasy.

Btw, I didn’t bribe and took the dang test 3 times before finally passing on the 4th try!

True la.. last time where got car seat wan. But then nowadays ppl drive like mad fellas, we have no choice but to use car seat now.

I didn’t bribe too to get the driving license. But I had a car accident for the first driving test and it freaked me out. Second time I passed.

Singaporeans were made to belt up years ago and we went through the same thing. But it is a necessary rule and it saved many lives. Now school buses have to instal seat belts.

Great post! Anyone who treasure their life should buckle up! Simple as that.
Good question too, why are there no seat belts for bus passengers? I’ve been asking the same question too!

I did my test in London.. I still remember the typical downcast British weather.. but that was all I remembered! I couldn’t recall what happened! Nothing. Blank now!! But I passed. That much more I can remember.
Then in Italy of course, no one ever puts on any seatbelt, front or back.. Still no one does.

hahaha i did the same mistake too during my driving test…but lucky for me my instructor signalled to me that i forgot to put on my seat belt b4 i started the engine…mwehehe

bravo!! a community message by giddy tigress! i was a bit surprised when i first came over to australia and everyone in the car, no one excepted has to put on the seat belt!! and i thought that was a good thing – especially after hearing two horrible accidents that could be avoided if they’ve used the seat belt.

I mish the freedom of lolling around in the back seat! Ahahaha. But seriously, it is safer to buckle to up. My only problem is that now I have to bring in my car to Perodua to get the rear seat belts fixed. Luckily, that’s free!

You know what? After I passed my driving test, I never drove a manual car again to this day!

I am a major advocate of buckling up in the car whether its a short journey or not. I aced my driving test first time round but was told I drove too closely to the car in front of me. I still do
