Well, turns out my previous attempt at subtlety in announcing something not-too-subtle backfired when it was apparently *too subtle* for anyone to figure out what my contorted mind was thinking. Either that, or… well, perhaps no one ever reads what I write…. or worse….no one really cares. *pouts*
This post oughta put things into perspective.

Finally, everything makes sense now. The nausea, the tiredness, the aversion to smells and of course the disappearance of Aunt Flo.
The first trimester is going to be tiring, even more so now that I am only in my 5th or 6th week of pregnancy. This is what I have been doing for the past few days:
- Reading up and re-acclimatizing myself with the prenatal Body Pump techniques. I did Pump till the 7th month when I was carrying Ethan, and I want to do the same now.
- Fatigue is getting the best of me. I need my afternoon shuteye now…although it’s admittedly more difficult with 2 other kids around.
- I’m down and out very early at night – not very good considering that I have gotten into the routine of cleaning up after the kids have gone to bed. Need to summon whatever energy I have.
- Trying my best to cook…the smell and look of raw food puts me off completely though, so I’m gonna have trouble with that for a long time. Might do takeout more often. Gosh, even the smell of most of the food I cook puts me off. Thankfully my family is still eating well.
- Current cravings: Grapes, Laksa…but they change ever so often. Most of the time I don’t feel like eating anything but when I stay away from food, I get nausea pangs too…what do I do?
- Backache has begun – so soon??
- Bloatedness is definitely not my thing. Hate it. Big time.
- Been reading Having Three Kids. Daunting, yes…and I have no idea what to expect.
- Relieved that we did not throw most of our baby gear away yet. Stroller: check. Changing table: check. Cot: check. Playpen: check. Cloth diapers: super duper multiple checks! 😀
- Readiness for #3: working on that!

Congrats. Take care.
The Giddy Tigress says: Thank you, my dear! I will.
I’m still reading, but didn’t get the hint haha. I guess I was just too occupied with the fact that you kept your pregnancy tests!
Congrats!!
Don’t worry about #3, your two older kids are independent enough.
🙂
The Giddy Tigress says: I will refer to you and your wifey on handling three kids 🙂
Ooh congratulations Joyce! What exciting news 😀
The Giddy Tigress says: Thanks Tine!
Congratulations Joyce! 🙂 I’m excited for you!
The Giddy Tigress says: Thank you, Pelf!
Congratulations Joyce!!!
The Giddy Tigress says: Thanks Juju!
Congratulations, Joyce! Take good care and you have 2 sweet little helpers this time, so should be easier. 🙂
The Giddy Tigress says: Thanks! Hehe…that’s a great way to look at it! 😀
LOL Ok I have to admit I didn’t “get it” the 1st time 🙂 Congrats!!
The Giddy Tigress says: Oh noooo…it proves that I have been overthinking. Thanks anyways! 😀
Now that I can say it openly – congrats Throyce 😀
The Giddy Tigress says: Thanks Auds!
Congrates! Now I understand why you were slower in blogging now and all the ultrasound pictures and the sticks. It all made sense now. Congrates again!!! Wish that you sail through smoothly for the 2nd and 3rd trimester.
The Giddy Tigress says: Hope to get back into the groove of things soon. Thanks for the well wishes, my dear.
Congrats! 🙂 and all the best!
The Giddy Tigress says: Thanks Bart!
Finally! The ‘less subtle’ announcement is out of the bag! Hehe..
Congrats and take care sis! 😀
The Giddy Tigress says: Don’t tell me YOU didn’t get it either?!! YOU? LOL…thanks bro!
hi Joyce, congrats to you. When is your due?
The Giddy Tigress says: Thank you! EDD is sometime in March next year.
Ah that post was supposed to be a hint? Too subtle for a blur sotong like me 🙂 Dang wished I have saved my pee sticks for both E and mm, didn’t even know we can actually pull out the strips!
The Giddy Tigress says: Well it was supposed to be an “announcement”, although in a very subtle manner. Trying to be clever..me.. :P.
The pee sticks I saved are just what they look like, I did not pull them out from any contraption. The one I did for the third baby however, is a different type (like the one you did, I think), and I just left it in there whole, as can be seen from the picture.
Congrats on #3!!!!
The Giddy Tigress says: Thanks Dinah!
