Giving from the Heart

I constantly find myself at wits’ end trying to thinking of a perfect gift for someone. Whether it is a gift for a birthday or a “Get Well Soon” gift or even a gift that says “Congratulations!”, it is always very difficult for me to zero in on one item that I think that person would like. Maybe it is because I am a perfectionist at heart. Most of the time though, I like to put myself in the shoes of the recipient, because then I would get a good gauge of what the person wants and needs, and hopefully end up with a fantastic gift, a gift that is heartfelt and a gift that will leave a warm feeling in the heart of that someone. However, this method will only work if I know the person very well. And when I am caught with my back against the wall as I sometimes am, I know I could never ever go wrong with FOOD!
