I can firmly attest that breastfeeding speeds up the process of losing weight after the delivery of a baby. Each breastfeeding session is akin to a cardio workout in the gym, minus the sweat of course. However, despite this, breastfeeding cannot prevent hair loss in women after childbirth. This, I am afraid, in unavoidable and unfortunately, I too, suffered from this, although thankfully, it was only just a temporary phase.
About five months after I gave birth, my hair started dropping. At times, I would make horrific discoveries of clumps of hair on the floor. They were all long strands of hair, so there was no doubt who they belonged to! The hair loss condition became so bad that I even contemplated seeing a specialist about it. Of course, there was nothing I could do to prevent this hair loss because it was primarily due to a hormonal change. But now that I think about it, I would have possibly placed an immediate order for women’s provillus, had I heard about this product then. Yes, thus was the extent of my desperation.
Well, I am glad that that phase is now over and my tresses are all glowing and healthy now. Up till the next time round, that is…. I shudder at that thought.
Ack! I have so little of it to begin with… when my turn comes… *panics*
