Of Castles and Chocolate

Well, it’s back to (boring) work again after the extended weekend of 3 days. I was greeted back at work with a pretty little souvenir from Michelle. She had just returned from UK and presented me with this tiny handmade wonder. Only an inch tall and about two inches wide!

And that’s not all…being the meticulous person she is, she remembered that I love dark chocolate, so she brought me some too…it was really addictive you know, I quickly returned the bar to her after I had consumed errmmm….too much 😛 Way too much. But only because it was way too good.

Thanks Michelle! And all this a day after your birthday too! If only more people celebrated their birthdays the way you do! Happy Belated Birthday Michelle! Here’s a bowl of virtual bee koh moi for your virtual enjoyment! Hehehe…

Happy Belated Birthday to Michelle! She really sounds like she would enjoy being a Birthday Girl on i s a n y o n e O u t t h e r e ? too!! Next time, perhaps, if I get a bowl of that strange bee koh moi, whatever it is (it must be yummy!)..

The Giddy Tiger says: Haha….you’ll have to ask her that then. Bee Koh Moi is black glutinous rice porridge. The whitish thingy is the coconut milk which makes it all the more yum. You would have had it before la.

I love dark chocolates too! Don’t show me a bar or I’ll finish them in one go. Haha.

The Giddy Tiger says: Oh, then good thing I’d already had mine 😛

Lovely castle. Hope I can visit there somedays. 🙂

Fair Trade cocoa? Has some cocoa not played fair?

The Giddy Tiger says: Knowing that the cocoa is fair trade somehow makes it taste better. Go figure…

    happy belated birthday to Michelle!

I love dark chocolate too. it’s the slight bitterness that makes it unique.

there’s an Edinburgh Castle here in Sydney, but not quite a castle – it’s a pub! LOL! and they serve pretty good rump steak, yummmm…

The Giddy Tiger says: Rump steak? haven’t had that in ages…. *drools*
