I was pleasantly surprised when the chicken rice I tarpowed was presented in the following packaging just the other day:
Bravo to the Fatty Loh Chicken Rice store in Nagore Road, Penang for choosing paper instead of plastic! 🙂
Would have been even better if the spoon provided was non-plastic! 🙂

Just last week I was remembering how chicken rice used to come packed in waxed paper. Seems like food tastes better wrapped in paper, without the ‘plastic’ odor you get with Styrofoam containers.
i have yet to see any recycled boxes being used over here yet!
