My current Battle Hymn

battlehymn

Got this book last Friday.  I don’t think I can wait till Christmas even if I’d wanted to.

And the funniest thing is that *someone* beat me to reading it: my husband.  That’s the strangest thing ever, because if you know my husband well enough, he NEVER reads books; only newspapers and magazines.

Ah, but this is a very interesting book, and we’re halfway through now.  “I can’t put it down!” is a cliché, but I’m still gonna use it.

oh the famous mother that literally tortured her doters into success! haha! but i wudnt want a mum like that. :p

The Giddy Tigress says: Yeah, I basically disagree with most of her *methods* per se, but still, it’s an interesting read.

just got the book. Whilst reading the synopsis..i like that part where she says she wants the child to try their very best..means worked to the best..i dont think that is force..but a good attribute to have…at least for me.

The Giddy Tigress says: I believe her intentions are all good. It’s just that I don’t agree with the way she makes her child try their best, regardless of how the outcome may be. In any case, to each her own, I guess.
