Tag from the King

Why is this post titled “Tag from the King”? That’s cos the King of Memes in Simple America has tagged me.  And I’m afraid that if I don’t do it, he might revoke my newly-earned tricolor ribbon…hehe….so anyways, this is a copy and paste tag.  Easy-peasy…. here goes…

Instructions:
1) Write a short introduction paragraph about how you found the List and include a link to the blog that referred you to the List.
2) COPY the ENTIRE List below and add it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can be accessible for (?), go ahead and change the title of the blog. Just don’t change the links of the blogs.
3) Take the ‘My Adds’ and move them into the ‘The Originals’ list.
4) Tag 3 Brand New Narcissistic Bloggers that you know of, to a new ‘My Adds’.

Huh?

Lately we have been inundated with mailers advertising for home-cleaning services. Being a condo-dweller, it is very often that we receive mails of all kinds since it is very easy for people to drop their adverts into our mailboxes, being centrally located and all. Anyways, these home-cleaning services are all the rage now, and although hubbs and I don’t make use of these services, I know of many friends who do.

Yesterday, we received this peculiar advert in our mailbox.

So are they making fun of us ah? First they tell us that we don’t have time to clean our home, then they tell us that they CAN’T help us??!!! Go figure…

My Ultimate Dream Vacation

Angeleyes has tagged me with the vacation tag, where I need to describe my dream vacation.  Actually ummmm….., I’ve already BEEN on my dream vacation…I’m blessed that way, aren’t I? 🙂  Hubbs and I honeymooned in the Maldives and yeah, that’s my dream vacation.  Of course, I would like to bring Ethan there someday too, so it’s kinda a dream vacation as well.

Maldives was so pretty and picturesque…memories of our honeymoon there is poignant too, because we were there about 6 weeks before the tsunami hit.  I contacted the hotel we stayed in after the disaster and they confirmed that fortunately there was only minimal damage to the resort, and that business was back to normal now.

Passing the Chain Along

I just remembered getting tagged by Suzette several weeks back.  This is more like a chain post tag – remember the infamous chain letter people used to send around?  This tag is touted to boost one’s site’s PR – let’s see if it works.

**Instructions**

The premise is simple: Write a post, and copy and paste my list from below into it. Make sure the links are active and correct. If your blog is on that list, remove it because your post isn’t about self-promotion. Don’t worry, because if your name is on mine, it’s on others and will spread. Add your favourite deserving blogs to the top of the list (not compulsory). Publish the post. People will notice the incoming links, and hopefully write their own z-list posts. The result will be that we all get more links pointing to our blogs, and more readers – got to be good!

Key Points

  1. Create a new post on your blog.
  2. Copy and Paste the entire list of blog links below
  3. Add any blogs that you want to include near the top of the list. (Optional)
  4. Include the blog where you first got the list from (in your case case please include Giddy Tigers), on the ‘original list’ in your post.
  5. Do not include your own blog links on the list in your post.
  6. Make sure that all links are copied intact.
  7. Publish the Post.

Save the Cheerleader, Save the World!

I seriously need my Heroes fix.  For the past couple of weeks, my hubby and I have been overdosing (and loving it) on Heroes.  We’ve now completed all 18 episodes (Seasons 1 and 2) and are eagerly awaiting the upcoming Season 3.  Don’t worry, I’m not gonna give any spoilers…. SO…. because I have been bored these few days with no Heroes and all, I was thrilled when I stumbled upon this Heroes Personality Test… okay okay, I googled for it.  Haha.

So the Heroes personality that I most resemble is…….

Peter Petrelli
You scored 54 Idealism, 70 Nonconformity, 25 Nerdiness
Do you ever… get the feeling that you were meant to do something extraordinary?
Congratulations, you’re Peter Petrelli! You are a compassionate, idealistic person, which is great. You’re searching for your identity and purpose in life, and you have a strong desire to be special, and do something great for the world. You’re a bit on the emo side, but you have the best of intentions. Your best quality: Empathy Your worst quality: EMO

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 52% on Idealism
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 97% on Nonconformity
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 15% on Nerdiness

So, which Heroes personality do you resemble?…Should I start a TAG….hehehe….. A tag that is only ‘Heroes”-addicts.  So far I only know one Heroes addict in the Bloggersphere…. my hubby is one too, but he doesn’t blog (yet)…. so this tag is for the Simple American.  The rest of you, if you are interested, tag yourself la, and let me know 🙂
