Why I want to eat at Friday’s

When I tell people that I love to dine at Friday’s in Queensbay Mall, most of my friends here in Penang will give me an arched eyebrow look that conveys the subliminal message “Are you kidding me?” Well, of course I kid you not… What’s there not to love? In any case, I always go for the food and stay for the fun… *wink*
– The service is excellent. My hubby and I place very high importance in service, especially when it comes to a restaurant. So far, we are nothing short of impressed with the service from Friday’s. Awesome attention to detail, friendly servers all make for the “feel at home” atmosphere.
– Great food. Almost everything I have ordered has turned out to be delicious. I am very fussy when it comes to food, so you can trust me when I say the food here is spectacular. I just tried the mocha mud pie last night and it was just splendid 🙂

– Kids dine free! Ethan always gets a free meal when we go there, and I really like the fact that the kids are always served first, given that kids do tend to get restless and hungry quicker.
– “Customer is always right” attitude. Once when our beef sizzling fajitas came a tad overdone when we asked for it to be cooked medium, the server promptly replaced our meal with a new one, even without us asking him to.
– Fast service. Our food typically takes less than 10 minutes to arrive, even with a restaurant full of patrons.
– Free balloons. Need I say more?
– Relaxing atmosphere. I immediately relax when I step into the restaurant, because everyone certainly looks like they are having fun there!
– Promotions galore! They used to randomly award diners with a free sizzling fajitas meal, but now they have a Buy 1 Free 1 GSC movie ticket coupon to give away with a minimum amount on the bill (I think it’s RM50). In fact, we’ve already tried their latest set meal promo and I have nothing but good things to say about it. Can’t wait to try the rest of the items ….

So, is it any wonder that bright Friday’s ad is sitting prettily on my side bar this week?

gotta tell ya, TGIF and Chili’s are my favourite american-ish restaurants. love their mash potato, love the way they do the starters, and uh-huh, the deserts are so yum!

The Giddy Tiger says: Oooh yes, we wanted to go to Chili’s last night, but since TGIF was nearer, we chose it instead! 😀 Now we know where we can meet up WHEN we meet huh?

Once in a while (Once), I would even indulge in a trip to TGIF’s!!! Really. Can you imagine the sacrifice it takes to renounce a good Fish Head curry, or .. ok, KFC?!!
